The function of the ATLANTA lubrication system is based upon the grease gun principle. After starting the operation, a nitrogen gas is generated electronically which by means of a highly functional construction moves a piston causing the grease filling of 125 cm3 resp. 475 cm3 to emerge uni-formly (not pulsatingly) at a constant pressure set to the desired dosage. Depending on the individual requirements, an emptying time of 1-2-3-6-12 or 18 months can be set by means of a micro-switch. It is possible to adjust the grease
quantity even after starting the operation by changing the micro-switch position accordingly.
The transparent housing, which can be mounted in any position, permits the visual inspection of the available grease filling at any time. When completely empty, it can be refilled and used again. Only the nitrogen chamber and the batteries need to be replaced. The contact cable permits synchronization with the machine operating time.
A connecting cable additionally permits external power supply with 3 V DC. By powering a magnetic sensor, the end position (empty condition) indication is transmitted at the sensor or to your control unit.

The felt gear is suitable for lubricating even in places which are difficult to get at. It can be mounted in any position. The direction of the helix is matched to the engagement with our output shafts and the gear wheels. The lubricant is supplied through the central bore of the mounting shaft. The hose- connection is provided for making the connection to the lubricator.
For feeding the grease/oil from the cup to the lubrication point, hoses with a max. length of 1.5 m can be used for grease and hoses with a max. length of 5 m for oil. Greases from NLGI 00 to NLGI 0 can be measured out. Since oil offers only little resistance, we recommend to use the check valve with 0.2 bar. It is available upon request (article no. 65 91 025).
